  The experience was great at this Carmel health store. I didn't expect such details in product knowledge from the employee, very in tune with new trends.
         The manager was on point and he really works to make my experience great, my wife wanted to try an Apple before purchasing,he made that happen,we purchased 4 bags of apples.
        We love your in house flowers self service beautiful arrangements ! We don't have this in Avon but it's worth the drive after church!

  Our doctor prescribed a handful of vitamins for my son and recommended looking at one of the natural, whole foods type grocery stores for what he needs. Since Earth Fare was close, we chose to stop there.
  
  Typically I am all about doing my research to find the best price. However, my son had just received a diagnosis, and I had to much on my plate to sit and research prices. I just wanted to get the correct vitamins, at the right dosage, while all the doctor's instructions were fresh in my mind. Now that I know exactly what I'm looking for, I know I overpaid.
  
  My son's multivitamin alone was $27. Walmart has it listed for $17. On Amazon, if you put Smarty Pants vitamins on monthly auto ship and have at least 5 auto ship items, you can get it even cheaper than Walmart.
  
  I did appreciate that they have clerks stationed back in the vitamin and supplement area. One of the women came and asked if she could help us, shortly after we arrived. She was extremely helpful in finding exactly what we needed.
  
  The store is quite nice, yet a little dark in spots. The bathroom, however, was gross and in desperate need of cleaning. I've been to this location a couple dozen times since it opened, and their employees are always friendly.
  
  The cashier, this time, offered me a discount card and let me know that there were rewards for buying supplements. I had just spent nearly $60 in supplements, so I was definitely intrigued. Once I was home and settled, I downloaded the Earth Fare app and got my information connected with the card. This morning, I went back in and my receipt from yesterday had finally uploaded. They offer $5 off your next order when you spend $25 on supplements. But it's unclear if there is a limit. I can also see that I've earned the award, but it doesn't list what amount. So I'm unsure if you earn $5 for each $25 you spend or just the first $25. If it's not $5 for each $25 you spend, then their vitamins are definitely way overpriced.

  We've been shopping here for years now because we love the different organic foods you can purchase. A little pricey, of course, from your regular food chains but some, if not most, items are worth it. Weekdays are preferable to shop though; IMO, the weekend staff is a little slacking

  Some backstory: I've been biking to work and I work in Carmel. So often I end up eating a small meal/snack grabbing either a (admittedly mediocre to average) slice of pizza at Kroger on Rangeline or a couple of delicious baked goods from the Russian Mini-Mart. Today, I thought I'd swing into Earth Fare to see what their lunch offerings would be.
  
  I've been into Earth Fare a few times before, usually on weekend evenings just to pick up a few grocery items or to grab a quick pastry or chilled beverage while biking on the nearby Monon. No real big impressions either way, but I was eager to try the lunch service. Or at least grab a coffee if it wasn't available.
  
  But the store is practically deserted at 10:30 AM on a Thursday.
  
  Admittedly, that is a tad early for the lunch rush during the work week. But I figured there might be someone behind the counter at least to make a coffee.
  
  But there wasn't.
  
  I saw one employee at the service desk, another stacking dairy products into the coolers. And that's about it.
  
  There are menus posted for pizza, sandwiches, and coffee and smoothie products they offer. But if these sections are only open for certain hours, there's no signage indicating such.
  
  There was also an area for soups that was completely empty. If they were preparing for a lunch rush at some point, there wasn't much evidence of it.
  
  There also really weren't many customers either.
  
  This is in stark contrast to the nearby Kroger, whose lunch service I've been able to get as early as 10 AM, seems to be constantly busy despite the nearby construction on Rangeline, and has a licensed Starbucks kiosk that is at least adequately staffed.
  
  I didn't really buy anything. And I wanted to. I don't particularly like doing 1 star reviews but I can't think of any redeeming quality of this experience.
  
  In what seems to be the highly competitive grocery market of northern Indianapolis and Hamilton County, I wouldn't be surprised if Earth Fare would be the market's next casualty.

  Pretty good grocery store focused on sustainable / healthy produce and foods like Whole Foods, Fresh Thyme, or Fresh Market. There are some items that you won't find anywhere else. In general, the variety of products is quite limited but that's due to the fact the selection of organic foods is typically smaller. Overall, a clean store, reasonably priced unlike Fresh Market, and not crowded as other stores. They also have a loyalty program with rewards and a mobile app.
